Sport and activities

Villa Tinaccio, immersed in the heart of Tuscany, offers guests the opportunity to enjoy unique experiences through collaboration with local companies. Although the villa does not organise or sell these activities directly, it is happy to put guests in touch with local businesses.

It is possible to rent traditional or electric bicycles, go horse riding in nearby stables, play tennis in the fields of Cerbaia 2 minutes from the villa, or play golf in three prestigious courses in the area (Ugolino, Vinci and Montelupo Fiorentino). Irene, the villa’s manager, can help find motorbike and car rental services, while for the little ones local companies organise fun activities in the countryside.

Villa Tinaccio is the perfect place to discover Tuscany and enjoy unforgettable experiences.

In Panzano in Chianti, the Macelleria Cecchini offers extraordinary quality meat, while some local home restaurants allow you to savour true traditional cuisine. Just 5 minutes from the villa, don’t miss Giotto’s famous schiacciata in Chiesanuova.

For a star-studded experience, Ristorante Arnolfo in Colle Val d’Elsa is a must. Also, with Florence only 15 km away, guests can explore a wide range of gastronomic offerings, from rooftops to typical markets. Don’t hesitate to ask Irene for personalised recommendations, depending on your culinary preferences.

Towns and villages

Villa Tinaccio is only 15 minutes away from San Casciano in Val di Pesa, a charming village in the heart of Chianti, rich in restaurants, shops and tradition. About 20 kilometres away, you can explore Montefioralle, a picturesque historic village that has preserved its authenticity intact. Also in the Chianti region, Greve in Chianti is famous for its local artisan shops and is the ideal place to taste the region’s fine wines.

Just 30 minutes from the villa, San Miniato and Certaldo Alto await you, two medieval villages where time seems to stand still, offering evocative atmospheres and breathtaking views. San Gimignano, famous for its towers towering over the Tuscan countryside, is about 50 minutes’ drive away and offers one of the most iconic views in Tuscany.

If you love history and culture, Siena, only 50 minutes away, is an extraordinarily beautiful medieval city with its UNESCO World Heritage historical centre. From Siena, you have access to the beautiful Val d’Orcia, one of the most fascinating areas of Tuscany, famous for villages such as Montalcino and Pienza, where the landscape and culinary tradition are uniquely intertwined.
